What makes us use the stuff we buy?

People choose products, they choose products maybe on their functionality. But there is ample evidence from research that, that in many, many cases they don’t use these products.

And one of the reasons for that might be is that they just don’t match their personality. They choose the products on, on functions and maybe on price, but if they are actually going to use them they don’t fit with their way they would like to live their lives and how they fit in the household and so on.
