The Paradoxical Leadership Inventory is a visual and adaptive tool that helps leaders face and cope with the increasingly complex and paradoxical demands of competitive organizational environments.

The tool charts leaders’ ability to conveniently harmonize or integrate the inherent traits of paradoxes.

In this manner preventing paradoxes from becoming counter-productive.

For example, to treat followers uniformly and consistently, while considering individual needs and sometimes making exceptions.

Paradoxical Leadership is a tool that is based on the dilemma reconciliation model (Hampden-Turner, Trompenaars, Sheppard, Harrison).

It applies research into visual scale construction (Schoormans et al 2007) and can handle 5 to 10 paradoxes.

It generates a report that shows and describes overall paradoxical leadership strength and for each paradox both facet scores.
